From Courtship to Courtroom: What Divorce Law Is Doing to Marriage, Jed H. Abraham.

Intolerable Cruelty (Widescreen Edition), DVD.  A Divorce Comedy centered around a divorce lawyer (George Clooney).  The antics are funny but oh so true.  Funny on the big screen, but in real life?  In between laughs you'll find yourself saying, "that's so true".

Liar Liar (Collector's Edition), DVD.   Another comedy divorce farce.  With Jim Carey as the disenfranchised dad who is a non custodial visitor.  Full of deadbeat dad stereotypes and of course a "get back together" happy ending but the mom dragging the kids out of court because "they are worth ten thousand a month MORE in child support gets right to the point.

Finding Fish, Antwone Q. Fisher, or the movie Antwone Fisher (Widescreen Edition) on DVD.  A "single" mom gives away her baby to child protective.  The little boy grows up abused only to find in adulthood that ... well I won't destroy the ending but let's ask ourselves, "how would things have been different if someone had bothered to find the paternal family?
